The Sky’s the Limit, and They Might Just Hit It. Yoga Company on the Rise.
Breathe. Stretch. Repeat.
This slogan precisely summarizes what Sky’s the Limit Yoga Co. is doing in post-pandemic life.
Founded in 2017 by Danielle Collingworth, Sky’s the Limit Yoga Co. began with pop-up style classes throughout Hampton Roads. Pre-pandemic plans saw a brick-and-mortar studio in the works, but March 2020 changed all of those plans. Now over a year later, we are excited to see all of the growth that they’ve made in bringing the thriving yoga community together.
What are they up to lately?
Chances are, if you’ve driven by The Plot in Norfolk or saw a large group of yogis gathered on the beach at sunrise or sunset, that it was a Sky’s the Limit class.
Well-known for bringing people together and spreading smiles through the act of movement, their classes are popping up all over town. From hosting events at Stockpot Norfolk to Beachside Social in Virginia Beach, at several 757 breweries, no matter where you live in Hampton Roads, there is at least one if not many yoga events to join.
Not only are they expanding their reach by hosting pop-up classes all across the 757, but they continue to pivot by offering more opportunities for local yoga lovers. One such way they are doing so is by advertising that they are more than happy to host your upcoming work outing or even your bachelorette party. Additionally, they’ve resumed their book club, with its first outing taking place this August 2021. For a company focused on spreading the yoga love, they are doing just that, with no shortage of innovation.
Furthermore, Sky’s the Limit offers 200HR Yoga Teacher Training to pass along their knowledge and love of the practice. The next session kicks off mid-July, offering low-cost ($5) classes instructed by their protégés teachers. It sounds like a double win for yogi teachers and students! Is there anything they aren’t doing, you ask?
Sky’s the Limit has taken the pandemic in stride and is coming back onto the summer scene in full force. They are taking the Hampton Roads yoga community by complete storm, and we love to see it. They genuinely seem to be doing it all as they continue to stretch their love of yoga across the 757.
What’s next?
Well, a little birdie (aka their Instagram account) told us that expansion on the horizon (*cough cough*). As of this May, they secured the brick-and-mortar location that was once only but a dream. Though details are still forthcoming, the community can’t help their energized enthusiasm that this endeavor is finally underway.
In the meantime, you can find them hosting recurring events all around. Some of these include Virtual Kid’s Yoga, Yoga on Tap, Sunrise Yoga, Yoga + Brunch at Stockpot, and Sunset Beach Yoga. They’re also well-known for tying two familiar favorites together: yoga and coffee. You can find them making their rounds of the always popular 757 coffee shops, including Coalescence, Knott’s Coffee, and American Brew. Who doesn’t love a little caffeine to jump-start their morning yoga flow?
Virtual yoga is still on offer for anyone who’s taken a liking to this new way of meditation and flow. Sky’s the Limit Yoga Co. offers a $15 a month virtual membership, including access to 4+ weekly zoom classes, an expansive “replay” library, and discounts on events, free swag, and more.
Supporting the yoga community
Everybody’s encouraged to follow their social media channels, share and attend events, and show your love for the 757 yoga community, just like Sky’s the Limit has been doing since 2017.
