System of a Down, Linkin Park, and more Nü Metal tributes land at Smartmouth’s NYE Party

Prepare for a night of intense Nü Metal action this New Years Eve at Smartmouth Brewing's Norfolk headquarters. From 7pm to 1am on December 31st, hardcore music fans can rock out to some of the biggest nü metal acts of the late 90s and early 2000s. 

The $5 door cover gets you access to a stellar lineup of local tribute bands bringing the crunchy riffs and angsty vocals of groups like Limp Bizkit, Deftones, Linkin Park, and System of a Down. Whether you're a maggot, deftonite, linkin park soldier, or just love alt-metal, you'll be raging all night long.

Berries is taking on the role of System of a Down, while Pop Topic is stepping in as Linkin Park. With local legends like those, there’s no doubt the musical talents will give the OGs a run for their money. 

Of course it wouldn’t be a proper NYE party without sufficient beverages to keep the people rocking. Smartmouth’s award-winning craft beer will be flowing into cups all night long. Whether you’re into IPAs, saisons, lagers, or ales, you’ll definitely have the fuel you need to air guitar till the big ball drops. 

Leave the popped collar shirts and khaki slacks at home. On December 31st, break out the baggy jeans, wallet chains, and black fingernail polish for Smartmouth's New Year Nü Metal bash. Just don't pack a chainsaw along with the party favors.

This event is an “all ages” event, and Ghost Kitchen will be on site with chow. (TBD on if they serve any Chop Suey for the occasion).
