This ordinance would allow the City of Norfolk to sell two properties, 218 W. 27th Street and 220 W. 27th Street, to Foreman Services, LLC for $58,000. The property is zoned Multi-Family Neighborhood-Scale and will be restricted to the construction of a single-family dwelling. 

This ordinance would allow the City of Norfolk to sell 1311 Marshall Avenue to The Arever Group, Incorporated for $27,500. The property is zoned Multi-Family Neighborhood-Scale and will be restricted to the construction of a single-family dwelling. 

This ordinance would allow the City of Norfolk to sell 2506 Maltby Avenue to The Arever Group, Incorporated for $35,000. The property is zoned Single Family-Traditional and will be restricted to the construction of a single-family dwelling. 

This ordinance would allow the City of Norfolk to sell 1414, 1416 Okeefe Street to The Arever Group, Incorporated for $45,000. The property is zoned Single Family-Traditional and will be restricted to the construction of a single-family dwelling.

This ordinance would allow the City of Norfolk to sell 1411 Okeefe Street to The Arever Group, Incorporated for $20,600. The property is zoned Single Family-Traditional and will be restricted to the construction of a single-family dwelling.

This ordinance would allow the City of Norfolk to sell 1206, 1208, & 1210 Hatton Street to Richardson Homes, Inc for $64,700. The property is zoned Single Family-Traditional and will be restricted to the construction of a single-family dwelling.

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to Bud’s Tires for an auto mechanic shop with vehicle rentals at 901 and 905 East Little Creek Road

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to Derryck Wilson for the operation of a Short Term Rental at 9558 20th Bay Street. 

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to EDC Homes for the development of two single family homes at 3017 Pretty Lake Avenue whose garages would be setback 5 feet from the front facade instead of the required 20 feet. 

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to “Fr8house Coffee Company” to operate a coffee shop with the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption at 2330 Bowdens Ferry Road.

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to “Leila International Cuisine” to operate a restaurant with the sale of alcoholic beverages, for on- and off-premises consumption at 4136 Granby Street

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to “One Stop Shop” for the operation of a convenience store with the sale of smoking products at 1027 and 1033 West Little Creek Road. 

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to “Riverview Theater” for the operation of a 488-seat theater with the sale of alcoholic beverages, for on-premises consumption at 3910 Granby Street.

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to Sour Street Pizza to operate a restaurant with the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption at 4035 East Ocean View Avenue, Suite 400.

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to “Tiendita Latinos Unidos” to operate a restaurant with the sale of alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption at 2346 Azalea Garden Road.

This ordinance would allow the Downtown Norfolk Council to use the Mace and Police Honor Guard for the Grand Illumination Parade on November 23, 2024.  

This ordinance would grant a Conditional Use Permit to “Club 60” for the operation of a commercial recreation center at 9611 1st View Street

Regular Agenda

This ordinance would amend the Fiscal Year 2025 Compensation Plan ordinance to add a new Paramedic title, amend job codes, titles, and unclassified service listing, as well as, amend earning codes on three supplements. 

This ordinance would accept $138,218 in grant funds from the Community Services Board Health Planning Region V for the employee pay differential, sign on and retention bonuses for Norfolk Community Services Board.

This ordinance would authorize the expenditure of up to $12,000 for an easement on a property in the City of Suffolk that is necessary for the relocation of a water main required for the Commonwealth Railway Project. 

This ordinance would accept $25,000 in grant funds from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services for The Witness Protection Grant Program. 

This ordinance would authorize the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) to form a new non-profit entity that will provide opportunities to low-income residents, apply for grant funding, and participate in development activities. 

This ordinance would authorize the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA) to form new legal entities required to facilitate the renovation and conversion of the Robert Partrea Apartments and Sykes Apartments from low income public housing to project-based vouchers.

This ordinance would authorize the City of Norfolk to issue “Water Revenue Refunding Bonds” to effectively refinance existing water revenue bonds through the end of 2025. 

This ordinance would amend the Fiscal Year 2025 Compensation Plan to remove prohibitions on new hire salary limits, and require that promoted Fire-Rescue employees receive at least a 5% salary increase or a new salary grade. 

This ordinance schedules a City Council Retreat on November 18th at the Slover Library
